It is worth recalling that the project for the construction of the five-star Radisson Collection Dushanbe Hotel was first presented to President Emomali Rahmon and Mayor Rustam Emomali at the Palace of the Nation on July 11, 2019.
On September 4, 2019, President Emomali Rahmon laid the foundation stone for the construction of a multifunctional high-rise complex on Rudaki Avenue in the capital, which included a modern 21-story five-star hotel.
The construction of this large-scale modern facility was financed through the income of Sebiston-2018 LLC, headed by successful Tajik entrepreneur Said Kholov.
In addition to the 21-story five-star hotel, two other 18-story buildings containing residential apartments and office spaces have also been constructed alongside the main building.
As reported, the hotel has a total floor area of 30,000 square meters and comprises 206 rooms, including 50 luxury rooms accommodating 150 guests, 23 superior rooms, 78 standard rooms, two rooms for people with disabilities, and three presidential suites. The presidential suites are decorated with traditional Tajik woodcarving elements in accordance with international standards. Overall, the hotel offers approximately 260 beds.
The hotel has created more than 400 permanent jobs. Taking into account the shopping and commercial facilities located on the four lower floors, as well as the basement and three upper floors of the complex, a total of 1,500 people will be employed permanently throughout the development. During construction, 500 workers were temporarily engaged.
Underground parking is provided across the three lower levels of the complex, while an additional outdoor parking area is located in the courtyard. Together, these facilities can accommodate more than 350 vehicles.
Restaurants located on the first and 21st floors can serve up to 420 guests.
The hotel offers a wide range of services, including separate men’s and women’s SPA facilities, swimming pools, traditional baths, beauty salons, restaurants, fitness facilities, and other amenities.
Dedicated areas of the complex also house a museum, a tourism information corner and an exhibition space showcasing traditional Tajik crafts.
The hotel is equipped with the necessary facilities to host high-level conferences, forums, business meetings and international events.
All services are organized in accordance with the requirements and international standards of the Radisson Collection brand, enabling the hotel to serve international tourists and business travelers. In this regard, local employees have undergone short-term professional training courses and practical internships to develop their skills and master international hospitality standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
During construction, special attention was paid to preserving and showcasing Tajik culture and hospitality, in accordance with the guidance of the Leader of the Nation. Particular emphasis was placed on construction quality, compliance with national standards, architectural excellence, and the use of traditional ornamental designs, painting, woodcarving, plasterwork, decorative finishes, and high-quality construction materials.
The elegant interior design of the building, including its guest rooms, corridors and reception areas, has made the complex particularly attractive and impressive.
The beautifully landscaped garden in front of the hotel adds further charm to the property. The area is especially attractive in the evening, when decorative lighting illuminates the grounds, creating a pleasant environment for guests to stroll and relax.
The complex was constructed to a high standard in accordance with the General Plan of Dushanbe and modern architectural and urban development requirements. Its construction represents a continuation of the capital’s ongoing development and improvement efforts. With the support of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe, the modern and attractive complex has further enhanced the appearance of the city’s central avenue and added to the beauty of the capital.
It should be noted that, in recent years, guided by the instructions of President Emomali Rahmon and the constructive initiatives of the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe, the appearance of the country’s capital has undergone significant transformation. Through the joint and patriotic efforts of residents and dedicated entrepreneurs, development and improvement initiatives have gained further momentum in preparation for national and state celebrations, including the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Following his inspection of the new Radisson Collection Dushanbe hotel complex, President Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to patriotic entrepreneur Said Kholov, head of the domestic company Sebiston-2018 LLC, for constructing a modern facility that meets architectural and urban planning standards.
The President also instructed the hotel management to adhere to the highest industry standards, uphold the rich traditions of Tajik hospitality, and ensure that all services are delivered at the highest possible level.
It is particularly noteworthy that more than 2,500 permanent jobs were created in the capital on this day alone as part of the President’s working tour.
Furthermore, the seven enterprises whose construction was launched in Dushanbe on the same day in the presence of the President are expected to create an additional 3,000 jobs over the next year and a half.
