On October 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, together with the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, His Excellency Rustam Emomali, reviewed several new industrial, logistics, agricultural, and medical projects in Dushanbe and laid the foundation stones for the construction of several important facilities.

In the Arbobkhotun neighborhood of the Sino district, construction began on a modern logistics and production complex belonging to Yovar LLC. The project includes the establishment of a food production center and facilities for processing and packaging fruit and vegetables. Upon its full implementation, the complex will create 930 permanent jobs.

The foundation stone was also laid for a new household appliance manufacturing plant belonging to Artel Avesto Electronics LLC. The new facility will have an annual production capacity of more than 500,000 household appliances and is expected to create 400 jobs.

In the same neighborhood, the project for a manufacturing plant belonging to Khonai Man LLC was presented. Using modern equipment, the facility will have the annual capacity to produce:

10,000 tables;

5,000 beds;

4,000 wardrobes;

4,000 chairs of various types;

5,000 units of medical equipment.

Once operational, the plant will provide permanent employment for 60 people.

In addition, construction began on an agro-logistics center designed for receiving, storing, processing, and packaging agricultural products. The center will have a simultaneous storage capacity of up to 2,000 tons. Its operations will help reduce agricultural product losses, support farmers, and expand export opportunities.

The project for the construction of a cold-storage facility belonging to Marmari LLC, with a capacity of 2,000 tons, was also presented. The facility will be equipped with modern storage systems and is intended to preserve the quality of food products and ensure a reliable supply of high-quality goods to the domestic market. Its commissioning will create 240 permanent jobs.

During his review of the projects, President Emomali Rahmon paid particular attention to the use of modern technologies, the quality of construction work, the development of domestic production, the creation of employment opportunities and improvements in services provided to the population. He issued relevant instructions and recommendations to the officials responsible for implementing the projects.

The implementation of these initiatives was described as an important contribution to the socioeconomic development of Dushanbe.

The Head of State was informed that the seven projects presented as part of this initiative are expected to create more than 3,000 jobs in total.
