Tajikistan and Belarus to strengthen cooperation
Dushanbe, 6.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadsharif Haqdod on April 5 held a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov.
According to MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides have discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation, such as urgent issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus, including in the areas of cooperation in trade, economy, science and culture, as well as inter-parliamentary ties.
In this context, the two sides have also exchanged views on regional security issues, especially on the situation in Afghanistan and other international issues.
The parties expressed interest in further strengthening of cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
