Tajikistan holds Bilateral political consultations with Russia
Dushanbe, 7.04.2016 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Bilateral political consultations between Tajikistan and Russia took place in Dushanbe on April 5, the Tajik Foreign Ministry press service reports.
The political consultations were co-chaired by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Oleg Syromolotov.
In the talks both sides positively assessed the substance and dynamics of their political dialogue at the high and highest levels.
Views were exchanged on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest, including ensuring security in the region, fighting with modern terrorism and countering international terrorism, as well as new methods of radicalization of the society and ways of their prevention.
As part of the consultations, the head of the Russian delegation Oleg Syromolotov was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov.
