Prime Minister got familiarized with the agricultural sector condition in the cities and districts of Khatlon region
Dushanbe, 7.04.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prime Minister of the country Kohir Rasulzoda in order to ensure the implementation of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon and immediate acquaintance with the process of agricultural works, the condition of lands irrigation and complex of agricultural enterprises visited the cities and districts of Kurgan-Tyube area of Khatlon region.
Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation have got acquainted with the activity of agricultural industry enterprise JSC “Juntay Khatlon Xin Silu” in Dusti district, which works since 2014. This enterprise has the ability to process 30 thousand tons of cotton per year.
In Jayhun district, the Prime Minister has got familiarized with the exemplary experience of local farmers in growing and gardening, and lemons. During familiarization main attention has been paid to increasing the productivity of cotton fields, early onions, orchards and greenhouses for growing lemons.
During the working visit the Prime Minister of the country Kohir Rasulzoda has also got acquainted with the process of preparations for the reconstruction and modernization of the Kurgan-Tyube’s international airport, including the reconstruction of flight line and airport’s administrative buildings.
