Conference on “Consumer rights protection in the sphere of drinking water supply and sanitation in Tajikistan”
Dushanbe, 16.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). – The conference on “Consumer rights protection in the sphere of drinking water supply and sanitation in Tajikistan” today, on February 16 took place at the conference-hall of the Strategic Research Centre (SRC) under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The purposes of the conference were to publicize importance and the need for raising transparency and accountability, as well as participation in the sphere of drinking water supply, to promote more active involvement of mass-media in publicizing development issues for drinking water supply sector and accessibility of services in rural Tajikistan.
The conference is organized by the Consumers’ Union of Tajikistan jointly with National Association of Independent Mass-Media in Tajikistan.
