Dushanbe, 03.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Tajikistan in China Ms Shahlo Abdurahimova has held a briefing on the opening of the first flight between the two capitals — Dushanbe and Beijing.

The main purpose of the briefing was the presentation of the project to a wide community of interested parties who can later use the services of this flight.

It should be noted that in May 2013 during the visit of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to China a communiqué on the opening of direct flights between the capitals of the two countries was signed. Based on this document on October 29 between air company “Tajik air” and Chinese Xinjiang Tourism Alliance was signed an Agreement to open direct flight Dushanbe-Beijing, which is operated by this alliance.

According to the agreement, the first flight 7J-887 will carried out on February 21 after the Chinese New Year holiday.

Shahlo Abdurahimova noted that the need for the opening of the direct flight originated in connection with the growth of economic relations between Tajikistan and China that have been reached in recent years.
