Dushanbe, 25.03.2016 (NIAT «Khovar»). — On the third day of his working visit to Sughd Region, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon attended and inaugurated a new secondary school building #13 named after Kamoli Khujandi, which has been constructed in the village Khishtkhona of rural community Ponghoz of Asht district.

President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon was welcomed by residents, teachers, students and community representatives with great warmth.

Head of state was informed that the total cost of school construction and equipping is about 6 million somoni. The main school building consists of 3 floors, 18 classrooms, 3 office rooms and a library.

In the main building equipped with modern training facilities favorable conditions are created  for 540 pupils. The school has a canteen for 60 persons, classes for the development of domestic traditions, including baking and cooking. Next to the main building gymnasium with 200 seats equipped with all modern conditions conducive to the development of sports and physical culture was built.

Construction works began in April 2014 under the project of the association of «Sughdshahrofar» and have been commissioned by the Office of capital construction of Sughd Region. Construction works within a prescribed period have been carried out by construction company «Parvin» of Asht district.

The residents of Khishtkhona village of Asht district expressed their joy and gratitude for the construction and commissioning of the modern school.

Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon presented 1 piano and other musical instruments, 3 sewing machines for school amateur-talent group, two electronic whiteboards and computers.

After getting acquainted with educational conditions, President of the country Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the residents, teachers and students.
