UNAMI: 670 people killed in acts of terrorism across Iraq in February
Dushanbe, 02.03.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — A total of 670 Iraqis were killed and 1,290 others wounded in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict in February across Iraq. It was reported by Xinhua News Agency with reference to the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) statement that released on Tuesday.
The statement said the figures included 410 civilians killed and 1,050 others wounded.
A month ago, UNAMI put the toll of casualties in January at 849 people killed and 1,450 others injured in terrorist attacks and violence across the country.
