This morning, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the chairmen of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Region, Sughd Region, cities and districts of Panjakent, Darvoz, Aini, Shamsiddin Shohin, Rudaki and Sangvor.

In their phone reports chairmen of cities and districts have reported to President Emomali Rahmon on natural disasters of the last days.

It was emphasized that in all cities and districts of the country commissions of Staff for Emergency Situations have been established, all available resources have fully been focused on the timely elimination of consequences of natural disasters.

Regarding the situation on the inter-city and local roads, it was noted that the current situation in the highways of the Republic, intercity and local roads is under control, transport communication is secured.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon gave concrete instructions to the chairmen of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Region, Sughd Region, cities and districts of Panjakent, Darvoz, Aini, Shamsiddin Shohin, Rudaki and Sangvor for immediate action to restore the sections of roads and bridges affected by floods, rendering first aid to affected populations, ensuring uninterrupted transportation on all highways, intercity and local roads.
