Head of CESCD, Belarusian Ambassador discussed cooperation on disaster risk reduction
DUSHANBE, 31.01.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues of cooperation in the field of disaster risk reduction were discussed on January 30 by the Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Nazarzoda and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov. It has been reported by the press center of the Committee.
“The two parties have also touched upon the issues of training and retraining of CESCD staff and improving the material-technical base of the Committee”, — says the message.
During the meeting they agreed to discuss the possible areas of cooperation.
The Head of CESCD informed the high-ranking guest about the work being done in the field of emergency situations management in the country and on international cooperation with relevant agencies of foreign countries in this field.
It is also reported that the parties had an exchange of views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
