Official visit of the Russian President to Tajikistan has come to the end
DUSHANBE, 28.02.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. A tete-a-tete and friendly meeting between the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin took place this morning in the margins of the official visit of the Russian President to Tajikistan.
During a sincere conversation the heads of state discussed the issues regarding the results of the official visit of Russian President to Tajikistan, and focused their attention on the process of implementation of the reached agreements and importance of implementing the new cooperation documents.
Thus the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan came to an end.
The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon saw off the high ranking guest – President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the Dushanbe International Airport.
It should be noted that the Russian President’s official visit to Tajikistan, which took place on February 27-28, i.e. on the occasion of the 25th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, came to an end with fruitful results for the benefit of the two nations.
As part of this visit, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a tete-a-tete meeting and then top level talks in an expanded format.
Following completion of the meetings and negotiations, 6 new documents on cooperation were signed, which will give a serious impetus to the friendly relations between Tajikistan and Russia in the field of military courier communication, labor and employment, use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, physical training, and will contribute to further expansion of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries in 2017.
