Catalogue of national Tajik names published in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 20.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. By request of the Committee for Language and Terminology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan the catalogue of the national Tajik names has been issued in the country in the amount of 10 thousand copies. NIAT “Khovar” has been informed by the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan.
According to the source, this catalogue features more than three thousand names with their writing variants in three languages: Tajik, Russian and English.
Catalogue of national Tajik names developed and published in accordance with the Order of the Government dated July 27, 2016.
The aim of development is the revival of cultural values, preservation of national traditions and history of the Tajik people.
