First regular flight from Tashkent landed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 11.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Uzbek airline “Uzbekistan havo yullari” carried out the first regular flight on the Tashkent-Dushanbe route.
According to the correspondent of NIAT “Khovar”, the airplane landed at the Dushanbe International airport at 08:05 local time. There were 29 passengers on the board of the airplane.
It is expected that the flights to the capital of Tajikistan will be carried out twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The Uzbek airline had planned to carry out the first flight to Dushanbe on April 4, but the flight did not arrive in Dushanbe.
Then the Dushanbe International airport reported that the flight is postponed for April 11 due to “insufficient loading of the board”.
Later, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe, Shokasim Shoislomov said that it would be possible to talk about regular flights between the capitals of the two countries when the agreement on air communication will be initialed and prepared for the final signing at the high level.
