Hamburg hosted sixth economic-cultural forum “Navruz”
DUSHANBE, 07.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany and Honorary Consulate of Tajikistan in the German Federal States of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, the sixth economic-cultural forum “Navruz” took place in Hamburg. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany.
The forum was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Germany. Representatives of political, economic and cultural circles, diplomats, heads of enterprises and companies, as well as journalists were invited to attend. The Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Maliksho Nematov, welcoming the participants, made a presentation on the initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan “International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028”.
During the forum, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Tajikistan in the German Federal States of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein Kurush Porcian, Head of Department for Central Asia Eastern Committee for German Economy Edward Kinsbruner, Head of German Development Bank Christine Laabs, expert of SUE “Tajinvest” Hans Siegert and the Head of the Transport Company “Mangal Transport” Asgarkhil Mangal made speeches. They told the audience about their cooperation with Tajikistan and provided information about opportunities and economic potential of our country.
The cultural corner in the forum was decorated with numerous information materials, including on the investment climate of Tajikistan.
In the cultural part of the forum sang the famous singer and composer Fakhriddin Malik, whose songs were gladly received by the guests of the forum.
