DUSHANBE, 12.05.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. – Today the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon  arrived on a working trip to Danghara district of Khatlon Province to review the creative works, the pace of socio-economic development.

The head of state started his trip by attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the secondary educational institution #9 in the village of Sangtuda of Danghara district.

The new modern school accommodates 1,320 pupils in two shifts and consists of 20 classes, including a library, electronic library, cultural center for 200 seats, sports grounds, as well as sewing, confectionery and woodworking classes for improving the skills of pupils, etc.

Later, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the inauguration of the new modern building of a secondary school #8 in the Khurramzamin countryside of Danghara district built with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Saudi Development Fund.

More than 15 million somoni have been allocated for construction of this school, which has 24 classes. Buildings of the school designed for 560 pupils in one shift are two- and three-storied.

The Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in Ismat Sharifov countryside of the Danghara district also got familiar with the implementation of Danghara Valley Irrigation Project (Phase-II).

Effective use of irrigated land is a guarantee of creating more than 6,000 jobs, improving the well-being of the people and increasing labor productivity.

In the continuation of his tour the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon solemnly commissioned the Danghara canal (phase – III).

After commissioning of the Danghara canal (phase – III)», the Head of State Emomali Rahmon stressed in his conversation with the residents of the district that the prospect of the final results of the third stage of the project is beneficial, since after the full implementation of the project 1,700 hectares of new lands will be irrigated and productivity will be increased. Also, effective use of irrigated land contributes to the creation of more than 5 thousand jobs.

In the framework of his tour, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon also attended foundation stone-laying ceremony for construction of a new enterprise — the Industrial Production Enterprise.
