Peter Szijjarto, Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister: “Hungary is ready to actively contribute to economic growth of Tajikistan”
DUSHANBE, 30.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The prospects and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary were discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto here in Dushanbe.
According to Parliament’s press centre, during the meeting the parties have paid attention to the development and expansion of interstate cooperation, which was steadily expanded during the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Hungary with joint efforts of interstate cooperation in the political, economic and social spheres. Both parties had also an exchange of views on expanding cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, economy, health, education, culture, and social sphere through the creation of a favorable legal and contractual framework.
Shukurjon Zuhurov noted that we consider Hungary as a reliable partner in our international relations. Speaker of Parliament expressed his interest to establish a friendship group between the parliaments of Tajikistan and Hungary. “With the establishment of friendship groups we can make serious steps in the inter-parliamentary relations of Tajikistan and Hungary”, — expressed Sh. Zuhurov.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, in turn, said that Hungary is interested in development of cooperation with Tajikistan taking into account its important role in the Central Asian region. He has noted that Hungary is ready to actively contribute to economic growth of Tajikistan through the implementation of mutually beneficial joint projects.
