“I LOVE DUSHANBE” – capital’s new attraction!
DUSHANBE, 27.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. There have been recently installed the stele “I love Dushanbe” in the capital city — Dushanbe. A new architectural composition is installed near the complex “Diar Dushanbe”, located on the shores of the capital Youth Lake.
The stele “I love Dushanbe” was installed by the funds of company “Qatar Diar Tajikistan” as a sign of love to our city. The works of its installation began a few months ago. However, the intention to put here the installation was never reported. Representative of “Qatar Diar Tajikistan” told to the correspondent of NIAT “Khovar”: “We wanted to make a surprise to citizens of Dushanbe. Such steles are already installed in many developed cities and they are popular not only among tourists, but also among local residents. Having established this composition unusual for our city in the Year of Youth, we wanted to do our bit within the large-scale works on the improvement of the city”.
“In our opinion, this composition can become one of the attractions that will attract not only residents of the republic, but also tourists, visiting our country. The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has repeatedly said that we should develop tourism, and we believe that this installation will be an excellent addition to the tourist routes”, — representative of the company said.
Next to the two-meter stele “I Love Dushanbe” is installed a fountain that works on LEDs. For two days already more than a hundred people visited this stele and captured their best moments in “Diar Dushanbe”. Majority of people express gratitude in social networks for this original and creative approach to the improvement of the city.
The company “Qatar Diar Tajikistan” announced a competition for the best photo taken at the stele. It will be held in social networks, and the winner will be that participant whose photo gets the most “likes”. The competition will last until August 5 inclusively.
