Heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS member states met in Moscow
DUSHANBE, 05.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The 18th meeting of the Interstate Council of heads of Supreme Audit Institutions /SAIs/ of the CIS member states will be held on September 5-6 in Moscow.
As the press service of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Tajikistan reports, the heads of the Commonwealth SAIs within two days will consider issues related to strengthening cooperation of the CIS audit institutions, including information technologies in development and improving the effectiveness of public administration.
According to the source, Tajikistan is represented by the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Tajikistan Qarakhon Chillazoda and his deputy Zafar Azimi.
It should be noted that in 2017, the 17th meeting of the Interstate Council of heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS member states was held in Baku (Azerbaijan).
The standard on ethical requirements, principles and standards of conduct for the employees of the supreme audit institutions of the CIS countries was approved, as well as issues related to the activities of the Expert Group on Key National Indicators, the Working Group on Standardization, etc.,
It is expected that in 2020, a meeting of heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS countries will be held in Dushanbe.
The Interstate Council of the heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS member states was established to provide organizational support for cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS member states, coordinating their interaction and sharing their work experience.
