TajikFilm to Cooperate with Center for French Cinema
Tajik cinema and its development prospects were discussed at a round table held on Thursday in Dushanbe during Tajik Cinema Week.
Both already established and young directors and actors participated in the discussions, reported the Ministry of Culture. During the event, which was organized with the support of the French Embassy in Tajikistan, they discussed the most pressing problems facing cinema in Tajikistan.
French Ambassador to Tajikistan Yasmine Gouedard said that plans to establish cooperation between TajikFilm and the Center for French Cinema are in the works.
She also noted that works by Tajik painters will be exhibited at the Guimet Museum next year in Paris.
