National Bob Music Award Contest Launched in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 05.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The national Bob Music Award contest has launched in Tajikistan, reports the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
The contest is organized by the Bactria Cultural Center in order to preserve and develop traditional music of the Tajik people, as well as to support young talents in the field of art.
The contest includes master classes, various cultural events and a press conference for media representatives.
A gala concert of the contest’s winners and awarders will be held this fall in Dushanbe.
Applications can be submitted for participation from March 1 to May 31 this year.
The main goal of the project is to empower young people of Tajikistan who want to show their talent to a wide audience. The project aims to give the Tajik youth the opportunity to express themselves through music, as well as to support cultural dialogue between different regions, musical influences and traditions of Tajikistan.
