DUSHANBE, 08.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov met with the Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani in Doha.

The parties expressed their satisfaction with the high level of political ties between the two countries, the intensification of cooperation between their ministries, as well as the solid juridical basis of the relationship.

Considering the financial and investment opportunities of Qatar and the economic potential of Tajikistan, the parties considered it important to expand cooperation in the energy, transportation, agriculture, industry, banking and tourism sectors.

Zuhurov and Khalifa Al Thani also exchanged their views on strengthening cooperation in combating regional and international security challenges and implementing sustainable development projects.
