Gustav Klimt’s Works Coming to Dushanbe as Part of the Days of Austrian Culture
DUSHANBE, 21.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Days of Austrian Culture will be held on May 22-24 in Dushanbe.
The event is organized by the Embassy of Austria in Tajikistan with residence in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Austria and the Tajik Society of Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries.
The Days of Austrian culture will include a series of events, reported the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Tajik Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries Musharrafa Sharipova.
On May 22, it will commence at the Zabunisso movie theater with an Austrian feature film called Migration, which will include Russian subtitles.
On the following day, an exhibition of works by the famed Austrian artist Gustav Klimt will open in the main hall of the Tajik Pedagogical University.
The event will end on May 24, with a classical music concert, which will be held in the building of the Union of Composers of Tajikistan.
