Tajikistan Plans to Open a Cultural Center in China
DUSHANBE, 04.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Xi Jinping’s book The Governance of China, which includes a collection of speeches and interviews with the President of China, will be presented in Dushanbe. This issue was discussed yesterday at the meeting of the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda and the Ambassador of China to Tajikistan Liu Bin.
The presentation of the book, which along with many languages of the world has been translated into Tajik, will be held as part of the state visit of the President of China to Tajikistan, reported the Press Center of the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
The parties also discussed the creation of the Cultural Center of Tajikistan in China and the Cultural Center of China in Tajikistan.
The parties noted that the organization of such centers will help strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
Ambassador Bin noted that the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in China, which took place in May of this year, gave impetus to the expansion of cultural ties between the two states.
“Holding the Days of Culture is a window through which people of different countries get to know each other’s culture and art,” said the Chinese diplomat.
Touching upon the issues relating to the friendly relations between the two countries which originate from the depths of the centuries, Orumbekzoda noted that currently there are huge opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of art, culture, theater and training of personnel.
