President Emomali Rahmon Made a Working Trip to Danghara District
DUSHANBE, 12.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Within the framework of his working trip to the cities and districts of Khatlon Province, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon arrived in the Danghara district, where he inspected the Exhibition of Industrial Goods of Khatlon Province.
In the first seven months of 2019, 41 industrial enterprises and a workshop with 600 jobs have been commissioned in the Khatlon region. During this period, industrial production reached 4.9 billion somoni with the growth level of 110.5%.
In the future, the commissioning of new industrial facilities and the increasing of the production of import-substituting products will be implemented on a step by step basis.
President Emomali Rahmon instructed responsible persons to take additional measures for the further development of the industrial sphere within the framework of one of the strategic goals — rapid industrialization of the country.
This was followed by the opening ceremony of the dairy processing Industry Shiri Danghara, which specializes in the production of 11 types of products, in particular milk, butter, sour cream, fruit kefir, cottage cheese, homemade kefir and other products.
Shiri Dangara was built by the initiative of businessman Bahrom Olimov.
President Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to entrepreneurs for their assistance in implementing the goals of the government and for the creation of new jobs and facilitating import-substitution.
Next in the schedule was the opening ceremony of a new building of the district Committee for Land Management in the administrative center of Danghara and three-story Umed Service Center. As tradition, President Rahmon presented gifts to over 70 orphans from Dangara and Hamadoni districts.
The opening ceremony for a Symbol of Wheat Ear, which stands 33 meters high followed the list. This facility was built by local entrepreneurs on the occasion of the nationwide celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence.
Dangara district is one of the agrarian regions of the country and is a leader in grain production, including wheat. Thousands of tons of wheat are produced annually in this district.
In addition, President Emomali Rahmon visited the Oksu rural community and commissioned road of local significance connecting the villages of Boghparvar and Bahor.
The four kilometer two-lane road was renovated by local businessman Kiyomiddin Chorikulov to coincide with the 30th anniversary of independence.
More than 110 km of roads have been reconstructed and renovated to coincide with this date. Twenty more kilometers are still under construction in Danghara.
President Emomali Rahmon also attended the opening ceremony of the State Educational Institution Technical-Vocational Lyceum in the village of Bahor in Danghara.
Its aim is to train young men and teenagers, as well as unemployed residents in the field of computer technology, auto mechanics, gas welding, and pastry baking.
The two story building was built by local businessmen. The 300-seat lyceum features state-of-the-art equipment and will start accepting students after completing 9th and 11th grades.
In rural community of Oksu, President Emomali Rahmon inspected the Bahoriston farm and launched a campaign to harvest cotton and visited the Agro-Exhibition. The farm includes 6.67 ha of irrigated land, which cultivates cotton.
Other rural farmers in Oksu also have extensive cotton farming experience. The area of cotton fields in the current year has reached 950 hectares.
Bahoriston farmers also have a rich experience in cultivation of other crops and make a significant contribution to the provision of domestic consumer markets with fresh domestic products.
Oksu has 3491 ha of arable land, including 1970 ha of irrigated land, and 907 ha of gardens.
Closing his trip, President Emomali Rahmon inspected the new modern children’s play and sports grounds in the administrative center of Danghara.
