Orumbekzoda Focuses on Ancient Culture of the Tajik Nation at the UNESCO Forum in France
DUSHANBE, 21.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The UNESCO Forum of Ministers of Culture began its work on November 19 in Paris, France.
Along with representatives of 140 countries, the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda, the Tajik Ambassador to France Jamoliddin Ubaidullo and the Secretary of the UNESCO Commission for Tajikistan Zulfiya Burhon attend the forum, reports the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
The forum’s sessions will focus on the issues relating to its activity until 2030, as well as the problems of cultural and spiritual coexistence in modern conditions of globalization and climate change, and the necessity of protecting historical and cultural monuments in emergency situations.
Orumbekzoda drew the attention of world ministers to the ancient culture of the Tajik nation, and the open door policy of Tajikistan.
