Deputy Sharifzoda: With Strong Will and Tireless Spirit We Can Fight Against COVID-19
DUSHANBE, 03.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The emergence of the coronavirus served as a very serious test. This disease shifted the problems of terrorism into the background and solidified the idea that the pandemic can be brought to an end only through strong will, tireless spirit and unity. These words were said by the Deputy of the Assembly of Representatives Giyosuddin Sharifzoda.
“We must pay tribute to the relevant structures, which, under the leadership of President Emomali Rahmon, took urgent measures since the beginning of the pandemic. We all witnessed that all opportunities were used to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” said Sharifzoda.
Due to the placed measures, the cases of infection are declining, and the number of cured patients is growing.
“The current situation has once again proven the importance of staying positive, not panicking, and remaining united in these difficult moments,” noted Sharifzoda.
The People’s Deputy recalls that, despite the difficulties, the necessary amount of food products, sanitary and hygiene items are reserved for the population. Most importantly, the stable operation of shopping centers, hospitals, clinics, medical centers and other social infrastructure is ensured and is controlled by a permanent commission.
Hospitals and clinics are provided with the necessary equipment, doctors and nurses are ready to provide appropriate and the necessary advice. Additionally, family doctors are obligated to visit and assist patients in their homes.
“As worthy heirs of Avicenna, Tajik doctors have been at the service of the people and are constantly fighting the coronavirus around-the-clock,” he stated.
“Therefore, I urge the country’s residents not to believe false rumors and fake news, and instead to be patient and not lose hope. We will be able to cope with this threat as soon as possible,” concluded Sharifzoda.
