Tajikistan Is Ready to Allocate Quotas for Master’s Degree Studies for Afghan Citizens
DUSHANBE, 11.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan is ready to allocate 5 out of 50 quotas for the 2020-2021 academic year for master’s degree studies for Afghan citizens. This was noted during the meeting of the Minister of Education and Science Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda and Afghan Ambassador to Tajikistan Mohammad Zahir Aghbar.
The meeting focused on cooperation between Afghanistan and Tajikistan in the field of education and science, in particular, the expansion of scientific and educational cooperation.
The parties discussed issues relating to the study and stay of Afghan students in Tajikistan, the availability and extension of visas for students, and the issuance of scholarships.
