DUSHANBE, 14.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On September 14, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 10.3250 TJS,

1 Euro – 12.2382 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1375 TJS.

Also on September 14, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 10.3250 TJS to 10.3300 TJS

1 Euro – from 12.2382 to 12.5000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1375 TJS to 0.1410 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
