Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Congratulates Emomali Rahmon on Victory in Presidential Elections
DUSHANBE, 12.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the initiative of the Kazakh side.
During the conversation, the head of friendly Kazakhstan warmly congratulated President Rahmon on his re-election.
President Tokayev emphasized the vast contribution of the leader of Tajikistan in ensuring sustainable socio-economic development and strengthening its prestige in the international arena.
The importance of further joint steps towards strengthening and deepening Tajik-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership in accordance with the fundamental interests of the two states were also noted.
President Tokayev extended an invitation to President Rahmon to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at a convenient time. The date of his visit will be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
