Tajikistan and WHO/Europe Sign Two-Year Cooperation Agreement

DUSHANBE, 21.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of Tajikistan and the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) have signed a two-year cooperation agreement.
The agreement was signed in a virtual ceremony on October 20 by the Minister of Health Jamoliddin Abdullozoda and the Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe Hans Kluge.
Minister Abdullozoda expressed his satisfaction with WHO and expressed gratitude to its Regional Office for Europe for the constant support in the fight against COVID-19.
“I want to assure you that the government of Tajikistan is committed to the principles of global cooperation to eradicate the COVID-19, » he said.
The WHO Country Office, Tajikistan was established in 1992 in Dushanbe.
