Ambassador Saidzoda Holds Briefing in Beijing on Tajikistan’s Priorities During Its SCO Chairmanship

DUSHANBE, 13.01.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, a briefing was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Beijing, where the Ambassador of Tajikistan to China Zohir Saidzoda spoke about the priority areas of Tajikistan’s work during its chairmanship in the SCO in 2021.
Initially, the SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov and the Tajik Ambassador Saidzoda presented the symbol of the SCO 20th anniversary, which was recently approved by the Chairman of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The symbol is shaped like the number 20. SCO member nations flags are depicted in the right corner, in its lower part is the atlas, the traditional Tajik fabric as a symbol of the national culture, and in the middle stands the inscription «Dushanbe 2021,» which is where the event will be held. In the center of the circle is the image of the planet Earth.
