Minister of Health Informs Head of WHO Country Office About COVID-19 Situation

DUSHANBE, 02.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the newly appointed head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office for Tajikistan Victor Olsavszky.
Abdullozoda informed him about the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in Tajikistan and said that, fortunately, no new cases have been registered since the beginning of the year.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further strengthening cooperation.
