Presidents Emomali Rahmon and Tokayev Discuss Future Summit Meeting in Phone Call

DUSHANBE, 13.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
At the outset of the conversation, the officials wished each other a happy Eid al-Fitr while to the people of the two countries they wished well-being and peace.
During the talks the sides also stressed the importance of the upcoming summit meeting with an emphasis on further effective development of the entire range of friendly relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
They expressed confidence that productive cooperation between the two countries will continue to expand in the future.
A number of international issues being of mutual interest was also touched upon.
