Tajikistan Hosts a Symposium of Physicists in June

DUSHANBE, 03.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan will host a symposium of physicists on June 25 and June 26.
According to the director of the Umarov Physico-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences Farhod Shokir, the symposium will be focused on the issue of resuming the activities of the Tajik Physical Society.
Physicists, working in research and educational institutions of the near and far abroad, are expected to be invited to the symposium. Due to the pandemic, the participation of scientists from other countries via videoconference is also provided.
The leadership of the National Academy of Science and Physico-Technical Institute plan to revive the activities of the society of physicists of the country, which will increase the possibilities for increasing the competitiveness of domestic science.
According to Shokir, a number of physical societies in Germany, Japan, America, China, Pakistan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are currently actively engaged in research and organizational work in the world.
