DUSHANBE, 04.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 1 as part of the General Debates of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the UN Under-Secretary General, head of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office Vladimir Voronkov.
The meeting focused on counter-terrorism and extremism, as well as the situation in the region, particularly the latest developments in Afghanistan.
The parties also agreed to continue cooperation within the “Dushanbe Process on Counter-Terrorism and Its Financing.»
