DUSHANBE, 25.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of greetings to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The message reads, in part.

It gives me great pleasure to convey to you my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your re-election as the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and wish you health, happiness, welfare, and prosperity in fulfilling your responsible state mission in the interests of sustainable development of Uzbekistan, while to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan I wish peace, stability, and prosperity.

Your decisive victory in the presidential election is another clear evidence of your people’s unanimous support for your line of policy, aimed at the rapid development of the country and strengthening its prestige in the international arena.

I am convinced that in the coming period of your term in office, brotherly Uzbekistan will reach new heights on this path.

I highly appreciate your continued efforts to comprehensively develop friendly relations, good neighborliness, and constructive cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the spirit of strategic partnership.
