Tajikistan Presents Historical Monuments at the CIS International World Heritage Congress

DUSHANBE, 02.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The 6th International World Heritage Congress Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) began its work yesterday. The event, which is being held in an online format, gathers industry representatives and experts.
The main topic of the congress is the introduction of historical and cultural monuments to the cycle of awards of the Great Flushing Path.
Tajikistan is represented by the head of the Department of Protection and the Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture Sherali Khojaev.
Tajikistan presented the historical and cultural and architectural monuments of Zarafshon, Karakum, Fergana, Syrdarya, and Hulbuk — the capital of ancient Hatlon.
The congress will continue through today.
