DUSHANBE, 06.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On January 6, 2022 the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The leaders discussed the efforts to implement the agreements reached following the Tajik — Uzbek summit talks and exchanged views on regional and international matters.
They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Republic of Kazakhstan and expressed hope that peace and order will be restored as soon as possible.
The counterparts reaffirmed their willingness to strengthen cooperation aimed at ensuring peace, security, and stability in the region.
