DUSHANBE, 18.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Jonibek Hikmat met with the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths.
The meeting focused on cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
The parties also exchanged views on the current humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
They stressed the need for strengthening cooperation in delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan who are facing a severe humanitarian crisis.
