Tajik Ambassador to Turkey Meets President of KOSGEB

DUSHANBE, 02.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 1, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov met with the President of KOSGEB Hassan Basri Kurt at the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey (KOSGEB).
The parties exchanged views on the current situation and further steps to implement the agreements reached at the 11th meeting of the Tajik and Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, in particular on the establishment of a joint investment fund to finance projects of small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries in Tajikistan.
Gulov noted that given the great importance of industry in the further development of the economy of Tajikistan, as well as the achievement of national strategic goals, including the accelerated industrialization of the country in the Address of the President Emomali Rahmon on the main directions of the internal and foreign policy 2022- 2026 years has been declared as the Periods of Industrial Development.
The parties agreed to develop an Action Plan based on the memorandum of cooperation between the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of Tajikistan and KOSGEB, signed as part of the meeting of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and to give a special impetus to interactions on the creation of a joint investment fund.
