Tajikistan and Iran Strengthen Cultural Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 16.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 14, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi met with the President of the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations of Iran Muhammad Mahdi Imanipur on the occasion of the visit of the artists of Abulkosim Lohuti State Academic Drama Theater and the Mehrubon Nazarov State Theater of Music and Comedy of the city of Khorog to Iran to participate in the Fajr International Theater Festival.
The Iranian side expressed satisfaction with the visit of Tajik artists and noted their high appreciation of their performances.
The parties exchanged views on the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
