Dushanbe Will Host the High-Level International Conference Dedicated to the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”

DUSHANBE, 01.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The second high-level international conference dedicated to the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028» entitled «Promoting Action and Partnerships in the Field of Water Resources at the Local, National, Regional and Global Levels» will be held in Dushanbe from June 6 through June 9 of this year.
The conference is being organized by the government of Tajikistan in collaboration with the UN and other partners and will serve as a link for the UN Conference on the Medium Term Water Decade which will be held in New York, 22-24 March 2023.
The conference’s official website (www.dushanbewaterprocess.org), Twitter (@DWaterProcess) and Facebook (Dushanbe Water Process) accounts are regularly being updated.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan invites official delegations of UN member states, regional and international organizations, financial institutions, experts and other stakeholders wishing to participate in the conference to register on the website www.dushanbewaterprocess.org/registration/ until May 6, 2022.
The first high-level international conference was held in Dushanbe in June, 2018.
