Korean National Railway Company Intends to Build a Subway in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 16.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan and the National Railway Company of the Republic of Korea signed memorandum for the construction of a subway in Dushanbe.
The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Transport Azim Ibrohim and Chairman of the National Railway Company of the Republic of Korea Kim Hangyong.
Ibrohim noted that the signing of the memorandum will create a legal basis for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and will strengthen bilateral cooperation between departments.
“The memorandum will expand the possibilities of attracting the National Railway Company of the Republic of Korea for the implementation of other investment projects in the transport sector of regional importance,” said Ibrohim.
