DUSHANBE, 17.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Bagheri.
The meeting took place in the Palace of the Nation.A wide range of issues in Tajikistan-Iranian relations with an emphasis on military-technical spheres were at the center of the discussion.
The sides stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the countries in the sphere of security and combating modern threats and challenges, such as terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and other forms of transnational organized crime.
