DUSHANBE, 11.07.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 7, at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan to Germany, an official reception dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Germany was held in the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomudin Sattorov opened the event with a welcoming speech and stressed the development of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Germany, as well as the achievements of the parties over the past 30 years, emphasizing the outstanding role of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in strengthening friendly relations with Germany.

Referring to the further development of cooperation, photographs were exhibited, which reflected the rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as the unique nature with sky-high peaks.

The visitors were interested in the Exhibition of historical items of Tajikistan entitled «Tajikistan — a country of golden rivers.»

To study the rich history and culture of the Tajik people, the participants were presented with a book by the President Emomali Rahmon «Tajiks in the Mirror of History» in German.

The event was attended by the members of the Bundestag, representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, trade and economic, scientific circles, former German Ambassadors to Tajikistan, journalists and compatriots living in Germany.
