FM Muhriddin Meets President of the 77th UN General Assembly Session

DUSHANBE, 20.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, on the sidelines of the High Level Week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly Csaba Kőrösi.
The parties exchanged views on issues related to joint actions, as well as the effective implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.
They also discussed issues related to the UN reform, climate change, the water and energy sector, and security in the region, particularly the situation in Afghanistan.
The hope was also expressed that the Office of the President of UN GA will assist Tajikistan in holding the UN Water Conference 2023, which will be held on March 2023 in New York.
