FM Muhriddin Talks about Combating Terrorism and Extremism at an OIC Informal Ministerial Meeting

DUSHANBE, 23.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin spoke in an informal ministerial meeting of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
In his speech, Muhriddin touched upon the current issues of the Muslim countries, the fight against terrorism and extremism, and the current situation in Afghanistan.
“The countries of the organization are rich in human and natural resources, as well as great energy, transportation and communication opportunities, and their effective use can contribute to the development of the economy and prosperity, as well as to the strengthening peace, stability, and security in the region,” said Muhriddin.
