Tajik Delegation Attends Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Group of 77 and China

DUSHANBE, 24.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, on the sidelines of the High Level Week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in the 46th annual meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Group of 77 and China.
Muhriddin expressed his opinion on the problems of developing countries, including recovery from COVID-19, rising electricity prices and prices for raw materials, logistics, and disaster prevention.
He also mentioned the initiatives to declare 2025 as the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers and to establish the International Glacier Protection Fund under the auspices of the United Nations.
