Foreign Minister Muhriddin Meets Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations Zuev in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE. October 17, 2022 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations Alexander Zuev in Dushanbe.
The meeting took place on 17 October 2022 on the sidelines of the High-Level Conference on “International and Regional Border Security and Management Cooperation to Counter Terrorism and Prevent the Movement of Terrorists”.
According to the MFA Information department, during the meeting the parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN, including the expansion of peacekeeping operations and the role of Tajikistan in providing its personnel, humanitarian demining and other topical issues.
